During the working visit of the Kashkadarya region delegation to Germany, led by regional governor Murotjon Azimov, a series of important meetings were held in the fields of medicine, education and innovation.
The delegation met with Professor Hanns-Peter Knaebel, Chief Executive Officer of the Heidelberg–Mannheim university hospitals network, and discussed the development of international cooperation in education and healthcare.
Representatives of the region's major industrial enterprises also took part in the visit. In particular, the management of Khilal Group, as part of the delegation, put forward a number of initiatives aimed at developing the cotton and textile industry, introducing modern textile technologies and increasing export potential.
These include:
— deep processing of raw cotton and creation of added value;
— expanding the production of yarn and finished textile products;
— expanding export geography to European markets;
— providing employment by creating new jobs;
— modernising the region's industrial infrastructure.
The visit is expected to take cooperation between the Kashkadarya region and Germany in investment, industry and technology to a new level.
