Murotjon Azimov visited an industrial enterprise in Kasbi district

The cotton and textile industry in Uzbekistan continues to develop steadily. The achievements of the sector are directly linked to the reforms carried out by Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Further increasing employment, incomes and living standards through the rational use of natural raw materials, production and labour potential in the regions, as well as the accelerated development of industries, is of great importance.

A large export-oriented enterprise is planned to be launched in Kasbi district. The project is being implemented by Rimpex Polymer LLC under the investment project “Organisation of blended yarn production from cotton and man-made fibre, and processing of textile waste”. The total project cost is EUR 24.5 million.

Murotjon Azimov visited the enterprise and reviewed the progress of construction works.

The enterprise is expected to produce an average of 8,000 tonnes of finished products per year, with annual export revenue expected to reach USD 14.0 million. The launch is scheduled for September 2026 and will create jobs for 500 people.
